The 8th Asia Label Awards Ceremony, themed “A New Era for Labels, Ecosystem Co-Creation,” was recently held in Longgang City. Wenzhou Haoge Anti-Counterfeiting Technology Co., Ltd. was honored with the Smart Anti-Counterfeiting Award for its independently developed Mercury Home Textile Anti-Counterfeit Label, becoming the only enterprise from Longgang to receive an award at this year’s event.
The Asia Label Awards are widely recognized as one of the most prestigious competitions in the label and specialty printing industry, celebrating innovation, technical excellence, and cross-disciplinary collaboration across Asia.
Award-Winning Smart Anti-Counterfeiting Solution
The awarded label integrates specialty security materials and multi-process printing techniques to deliver a comprehensive anti-counterfeiting solution. The label is produced using 75g windowed security-thread fluorescent fiber paper and incorporates a combination of five distinct security features:
- Anti-counterfeit guilloche background patterns
- 11-digit variable data traceability code
- Four-digit scratch-off verification code
- Holographic diffractive variable hot-stamped metallic strip
- Die-cut anti-transfer security structure
Through its multi-layer traceability and verification system, consumers can authenticate products via online scanning platforms, providing fast, intuitive verification and strong consumer protection.
Industry Recognition and Leadership Appointment
At the same event, during the Second Member Representative Assembly of the Label & Specialty Printing Branch of the China Printing Technology Association (CLIA), Mr. Zhang Xianzang, Chairman of Haoge, was elected Vice Chairman of the Second Committee.
This appointment reflects Haoge’s long-standing contribution to the advancement of security printing technology and industry standardization.

Mr. Zhang began his entrepreneurial career in 1988 and founded Wenzhou Haoge Anti-Counterfeiting Technology Co., Ltd. as a wholly owned enterprise in 2009, later establishing a wholly owned subsidiary in Shanghai in 2017.
He is a recognized expert within the China Printing Technology Association’s expert database and has been honored as an industry master and talent expert in Wenzhou, as well as receiving the title of “Most Inspiring Longgang Citizen.”
Mr. Zhang has led or participated in the development of:
- 2 invention patents
- 30+ national utility model patents
He has also overseen the formulation of multiple enterprise standards, including:
- Anti-counterfeiting labels
- Protective security films
- Tamper-evident labels with residue retention
- Color-printed medical film materials
In addition, he has contributed to the drafting of industry group standards such as “QR Code Printing Quality and Inspection Methods for Commodities” and “Production Process Data Management Requirements for Commodity QR Codes.”
